Oral Surgery Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Aid the dentist during oral surgery procedures.
  • Present and review treatment plans with patients.
  • Schedule appointments and support patient flow.
  • Maintain equipment, instruments, and clinical supply inventory.
  • Take and record patient health histories.
  • Perform sterilization, operatory turnover, and dental charting.
  • Prepare materials and equipment for scheduled procedures.
  • Support additional clinical tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • DAII training or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of oral surgery assisting experience required.
  • NC and SC Xray Certification.
  • CPR certification (or able to obtain within 30 days).
  • Ability to explain treatment plans and insurance information clearly.
  • Knowledge of Denticon is a plus.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
  • Able to travel to other locations when needed.
