About the role
The Oral Surgery Dental Assistant provides clinical support to facilitate the relationship between patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care, and maintain communication among dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience. The role is part of the Gentle Dental Manchester specialty team, which travels to multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Chair‑side assisting during a variety of dental procedures
- Expose radiographs and intra‑oral pictures
- Provide post‑operative instructions and patient education
- Prepare, break down, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
- Maintain dental supply inventory
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- C.D.A. preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Possess required certifications, licensure, or registration as required by state
- Embrace a positive team approach to patient care
Pay
Hourly Rate: $30 USD – $35 USD
