Job Summary

Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Oracle Database Developer Position: Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Oracle Database Developer
Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Remote with occasional onsite travel)
Work Arrangement: Primarily remote; office visits as needed
Interview Process: First two interviews via Microsoft Teams (virtual); final interview onsite (in-person)

Role Focus

Hands-on Oracle Developer, not a DBA role
Work within an application development team
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support database-driven web applications

Primary Responsibilities

• Create design models, diagrams, layouts, and specifications
• Integrate with legacy and modern technologies
• Develop, deploy, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL database applications in a web environment
• Support COVID-19 related project activities
• Work with diverse project teams in a dynamic, high-visibility environment
• Day-to-day: ~40% coding, 20% design/analysis, 20% implementation, 20% support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years experience with Oracle Database (10g, 12c)
• 5+ years Oracle PL/SQL programming
• Experience with SQL Navigator or similar tools
• 5+ years with full project lifecycle for web-based systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills; self-motivated and able to work independently
• Proficient at analyzing impacts of technical changes and software defects
• Experience designing and integrating complex systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years with Oracle 10g/12c and SQL Server
• Expert-level PL/SQL and advanced SQL querying
• Knowledge of additional 3rd generation languages
• Quick to learn new technologies for complex development
• Excellent debugging, written, verbal, and team collaboration skills
