About the role
The Oracle Developer role involves designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Oracle database applications, PL/SQL programs, and reporting solutions. This role requires technical expertise and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views, indexes, and materialized views.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and root-cause analysis to resolve production issues.
- Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans.
- Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating requirement-gathering sessions and design reviews.
- Provide status updates, risks, and dependencies to management.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Oracle Database (12c/19c or later).
- Advanced PL/SQL development experience.
- Knowledge of SQL performance tuning.
- Understanding of data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
