Oracle Patient Accounting

About the role

Patient Accounting (PA) is the main skillset needed given that they are doing the Cerner Patient Account Implementation first and then Fusion. Fusion candidates are not ruled out, but PA will be the more critical need. The role is hybrid, based in Middleburg Heights, OH (Cleveland metro area). Start date: 9/22/2026. Duration: 1 year through 9/27/2027. Background check required; the facility does not require the most recent Covid booster, allowing an opt‑out letter.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and reactive technical support for Oracle applications and solutions.
• Support Oracle Patient Accounting and Oracle Fusion environments.
• Troubleshoot complex application and system issues and provide documented resolution plans.
• Assist customers with software updates, upgrades, configurations, and remediation activities.
• Partner with Oracle Support and Product Development teams to resolve technical issues.
• Create and maintain customer-facing technical documentation and implementation deliverables.
• Analyze customer environments and recommend improvements, optimizations, and best practices.
• Support automation and efficiency initiatives to improve service delivery.
• Educate customers on product functionality, upgrades, and operational best practices.
• Present technical recommendations and solution guidance to customers and stakeholders.
• Participate in customer implementation, testing, and post‑production support activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, supporting, or maintaining enterprise IT solutions and operations; OR Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting Oracle Patient Accounting applications.
• Experience supporting Oracle Fusion products.
• Enterprise application troubleshooting and incident remediation experience.
• Experience performing software updates, upgrades, and configuration activities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and customer deliverables.
• Experience working directly with customers and cross‑functional technical teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Middleburg Heights, Ohio.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT solutions or operations.
• Experience with process optimization and automation initiatives.
• Knowledge of Oracle support methodologies and service delivery best practices.
• Experience presenting technical recommendations to customers.
• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with Oracle Advanced Services environments and customer engagement models.
• Experience collaborating with product development and engineering teams on complex issue resolution.
