Oracle Integration Cloud Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration flows in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) connecting Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, CX) with on‑premises and third‑party systems
• Build app‑driven and scheduled orchestrations, including complex mappings, error handling, and recovery flows
• Configure and operate a wide range of OIC adapters (REST, SOAP, FTP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, custom)
• Develop process automation flows using OIC Process Cloud Service for human‑centric workflows
• Build Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) applications integrated with OIC and Oracle Cloud Applications
• Implement API management strategies, including security policies, throttling, and developer portals
• Design robust error‑handling and notification patterns, including retries, escalation, and resubmission workflows
• Optimize performance of high‑volume integrations through batching, parallelism, and asynchronous patterns
• Migrate legacy Oracle SOA Suite or third‑party integrations to OIC
• Collaborate with Oracle Cloud Applications functional teams to align integrations with business processes
• Provide hypercare and post‑go‑live support, including incident response and root‑cause analysis
• Maintain comprehensive, current technical documentation — including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal integration patterns and standards

Requirements

• 12 or more years of integration experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud
• Solid experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, or CX) data models and APIs
• Experience with REST and SOAP web service development
• Working knowledge of Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Process Cloud Service
• Familiarity with API management concepts and Oracle API Platform
• Strong scripting skills (Groovy, JavaScript) and SQL
• Experience with security standards (OAuth2, SAML, mTLS)
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Prior experience migrating from Oracle SOA Suite to OIC is a strong plus

Pay

$100,000–$170,000 annually
