Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a senior Oracle Fusion Functional Lead with deep expertise in Financials and Procurement. This is a hands‑on role requiring leadership across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Procurement.

This position is posted in Reston, VA with additional locations available in Huntsville, AL, Chesapeake, VA and Charleston, SC. Relocation assistance is not available.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties: Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the design, configuration, deployment, and support of Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement modules.
• Translate business requirements into functional solutions aligned with best practices and compliance standards.
• Support procure‑to‑pay, order‑to‑cash, and record‑to‑report processes.
• Provide functional expertise for month‑end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and project teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, working closely with technical teams as needed.
• Document functional designs, configurations, and process flows.

Requirements

Mandatory requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of Oracle ERP experience, with at least 5 years in Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement.
• Proven track record of delivering several full‑cycle Oracle Fusion implementations.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, and Procurement.
• Deep understanding of procure‑to‑pay and financial close processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel up to one week per month as required.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications in Financials or Procurement.
• Experience with OTBI and BI Publisher reporting.
• Exposure to integrations with external procurement or financial systems.
