Finance Functional Lead, Oracle Fusion Cloud

For our client, we are seeking a Finance Functional Lead, Oracle Fusion Cloud to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead finance transformation efforts across core finance modules, with a strong focus on translating business needs into scalable system design and delivery. The person in this role will partner closely with senior finance leadership to shape solutions that improve Record-to-Report, Close, FP&A, consolidations, and broader finance operations. This is a hands-on functional leadership position that combines strategic ownership, technical configuration, and cross-functional execution in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate will own new finance initiatives from design through go-live while also governing support operations and driving automation across finance processes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $161,500 – $195,400 annually Responsibilities Own the product vision and roadmap for the finance cloud platform, covering multiple finance modules Serve as the sole accountable owner for all new initiatives from design to go-live Act as the primary point of contact for Finance leadership, translating business needs into system design Govern offshore MSP support for KTLO activities, ensuring quality and adherence to SLAs Perform hands-on configuration and lead end-to-end delivery of finance cloud solutions Lead implementation of financial consolidation processes and account reconciliation capabilities Implement and sustain Project Accounting and Lease Accounting within the finance cloud environment Drive intelligent automation initiatives across finance processes, leveraging AI capabilities Qualifications 12+ years of hands-on experience with Finance ERP platforms, specifically Oracle ERP implementation Proven expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, including functional configuration and data analysis Deep understanding of core finance processes like Record-to-Report, Close, and FP&A Experience with Consolidations & Eliminations in Oracle Fusion Finance/accounting foundation (CPA, CMA) or direct experience in GL/AP/AR/audit preferred Experience managing offshore MSPs for KTLO support Strong executive communication skills for engaging with senior finance leadership Experience with AI in Finance operations Benefits Remote work flexibility within the USA Opportunity to lead significant finance transformation initiatives Engagement with senior finance leadership and strategic decision-making Access to advanced Oracle technologies and tools for finance operations Potential for professional growth in a high-velocity environment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
