Oracle Functional Analyst

About the role

SAIC is looking for a Functional Analyst to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK at the FAA office.

Responsibilities

• Support Oracle Federal Financials E-Business Suite version R12, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Projects Accounting, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, and Federal Financials.
• Support other systems including OBIEE, Splash BI, and Prism.
• Apply good working knowledge of basic accounting, PRISM, and Oracle Financial applications, particularly in Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and General Ledger.
• Analyze customer financial requirements and incorporate them into the Oracle financial application.
• Analyze problem areas and propose feasible solutions.
• Use Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects) as required.
• Knowledge of SQL Plus and Federal Accounting is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and zero (0) years of related experience required; 4 years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Basic understanding of Oracle Financials modules and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with finance teams and technical staff.
• Ability to document support issues and processes clearly and thoroughly.
• Prior experience supporting Oracle Financials or similar ERP financial modules is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices and financial reporting is a plus.

Schedule

Full‑time, day shift; on‑site work (ORA_ON_SITE).
