Key Responsibilities
- Development & Optimization: Analyze, design, develop, optimize, and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations for Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules (primarily R12).
- Module Support: Support and enhance core Financial modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Purchasing (PO), and Inventory (INV), alongside custom-built processes within the Oracle application.
- Technical Implementation: Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, functions, and reports using Oracle development tools (TOAD, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher).
- System Integration: Support data migration and interface development activities, including API calls, Web Services, and flat-file integrations.
- System Maintenance: Coordinate regular system updates with the Database Administrator and implement enhancements to meet operational requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve complex application issues, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.
- Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: Work with business and functional teams to gather requirements, document technical solutions, and implement new functionality.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, change management standards, and IT governance policies.
- Documentation & Delivery: Provide clear documentation on all system and process enhancements, source-to-target mappings, and operational guides. Participate in project planning, peer reviews, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Required Qualifications
- Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- EBS Experience: 7+ years of hands-on technical development experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Financials.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, and BI Publisher.
- Functional Domain Knowledge: Strong functional understanding of end-to-end Financial business processes (AP, AR, GL, PO, INV).
- System Integration: Proven experience leading technical workloads for large-scale system integration projects, interface designs, and data migrations.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with financial business partners and across cross-functional technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced EBS Tools: Hands-on experience with EBS APIs, OA Framework, and Web ADI is highly desirable.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or hybrid EBS-to-Cloud environments.
- Development Tools: Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX) and Oracle Workflow.
- Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and familiarity with modern DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Jira, etc.).
- Industry Context: Prior understanding of public sector financial systems or large-scale enterprise financial operations.
- Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent technical certifications.
