Oracle DBA

Job Title: Oracle DBA – Federal Government Experience Location: Remote – EST Candidate & Citizens Only Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong Federal Government project experience to support the HHS OCSS program. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, database security, high availability, and disaster recovery in a federal environment. Mandatory Skills Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration (Oracle DBA).Federal Government project experience is mandatory, preferably HHS, CMS, or other federal healthcare programs.Experience with database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, high availability, and disaster recovery.Experience with database security, access controls, auditing, and encryption.Strong Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting skills.Experience with database monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.Knowledge of database migration, replication, and data integrity. Federal Program Requirements Must have resided in the United States for at least the past three years.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.Must not have previously worked on the OCSS program. Experience & Education 10-15 years of relevant experience, with a related master's degree.Equivalent professional experience may be considered in place of a degree. Important: Candidates must have both strong Oracle DBA experience and verifiable Federal Government project experience. This is a fully remote position for candidates working from within the United States.
