Job#: 3055066 Job Description: Oracle DBA Location: REMOTE Role Overview This organization is seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to support mission-critical production database environments. The selected professional will work independently within a small, highly specialized database team to manage performance tuning, database upgrades, and patching. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate on database modernization and cloud migration initiatives. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Oracle PeopleSoft environments to ensure system stability and performance.Manage and maintain Oracle Exadata platforms in alignment with organizational standards.Configure and optimize database deployments within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).Oversee backup, recovery, performance tuning, and database patching procedures.Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide timely resolutions for production environments.Collaborate with globally distributed or offshore support teams to maintain database availability. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study is preferred. Experience: Minimum of eight years of professional experience as an Oracle Database Administrator supporting high-availability production environments. Technical Skills: Proven expertise with Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle Exadata, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
