Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance as a condition and continuation of employment
• Security+ Certification
• Strong experience administering Oracle database technologies
• Experience applying security patches and upgrades
• Experience with addressing database outages
• Experience maintaining SQL databases
• Familiarity with Redis or other key-value stores
• Familiarity with Java Database interfaces (JDBC, Hibernate)
• Familiarity with working in Containerized (Docker, Kubernetes) environments
• Experience with maintaining high availability production databases
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (ex: Ansible)
• Experience with Database architecture and design
• Experience with migrating on-prem databases to a cloud
• Experience with tuning and optimizing databases and queries
• Familiarity with Atlassian tool-suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Proven experience with database performance tuning techniques
• Understanding of Information Security (INFOSEC) and Information Assurance (IA) policies
• Proficiency with multiple operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows)

Qualifications

• Oracle DB Certification

• Oracle RMAN experience
• Experience with Database scripting languages
• Experience with general scripting languages
