Job Summary

A well-established construction and engineering business based in Massachusetts with operations spanning the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the transition to Oracle Fusion Cloud. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Oracle Cloud Solution Architecture, specifically in ERP, SCM, or Projects, with a strong background in Oracle EBS migration to Fusion Cloud. Experience with Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) or Project Financials is advantageous due to the business's complex project accounting and subcontractor management needs. The Solution Architect will work closely with business leadership and a lean internal IT team, with support from an SI partner.

About the Role

The Solution Architect will be responsible for owning the technical and functional blueprint across the full Oracle Fusion landscape, becoming the internal authority on Oracle Cloud configuration, integration, and scaling for the business. This role requires engagement at senior leadership levels while maintaining a hands-on approach to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technical and functional architecture for Oracle Fusion Cloud
  • Migrate Oracle EBS customizations to Oracle Fusion Cloud
  • Design and implement integration solutions using OIC, RICEW frameworks, FBDI, and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the internal IT team
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Requirements

  • Proven Oracle Cloud Solution Architecture experience
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS and its migration to Fusion Cloud
  • Experience with Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) or Project Financials
  • Solid grasp of integration design principles
  • Construction, engineering, or project-driven business experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Oracle Cloud Solution Architecture
  • Experience with Oracle EBS and migration to Fusion Cloud
  • Experience with Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) or Project Financials
  • Hands-on experience with integration design and API development
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
