Oracle Cloud ERP Administrator
About the role
The Oracle Cloud System Administrator will manage security and user access in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Fusion Cloud, designing roles, enforcing least-privilege access, and conducting regular audits.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot issues related to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM & HCM.
- Partner with internal IT teams and external vendor teams to monitor, identify, and resolve issues.
- Manage instance (Dev, Test, and Prod environments) with appropriately refreshed data based on business testing needs.
- Administer technical aspects of Oracle Fusion applications, including batch scheduling, OIC configurations, and fast formulas.
- Manage user security, roles, and workflows within Oracle Cloud Security, designing custom roles to ensure they don't grant too many privileges.
- Conduct regular security audits to identify and fix vulnerabilities.
- Work with Oracle to perform System/Service Maintenance Tasks, Back Up and Recovery of Oracle Fusion Applications.
- Maintain Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP application metadata such as provisioning configurations, domains, and application components.
- Monitor Oracle Fusion Cloud applications performance and architecture to ensure system reliability, integrity, and recoverability.
- Collaborate with internal staff, third-party vendors, and Oracle to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
- Document system requirements and process flows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Seven years of overall ERP Administration Experience.
- Three years of experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM & HCM.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent collaborative and verbal/written communication skills.
- Teach and mentor other engineers with varying domains of expertise.
- Experience in leading full projects involving Requirements, Design, Testing and Roll-out.
- In-depth familiarity with other Oracle Cloud Platform services, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Oracle Cloud Security.

This is a civilian position in either a public safety department or in Information Technology with close ties to public safety. Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a public safety background which may include motor vehicle & criminal histories, and fingerprinting is required. This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
The grade for this position is 107. Salary will be dependent on education and experience. Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
