About the Role
Centinela Hospital Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare (a Top-15 hospital system in the United States), is seeking an Operating Room Tech to join its award-winning team. Centinela Hospital is a 362-bed acute-care facility serving Inglewood and the wider Los Angeles area for over 100 years. The hospital is nationally recognized for quality and patient safety, featuring a 24-hour STEMI-certified emergency department, primary stroke center, orthopedic care, advanced cardiac services, critical care, and inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation programs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for assigned procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field during surgical cases.
- Provide surgeons with sterile supplies and instruments during procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (or related experience for new hires effective April 2014).
- Graduate of an ORT training program or on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years of experience (surgical setting preferred).
- Experience scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General, Plastics).
- Experience scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialty surgical areas (e.g., Ortho, Neuro, ENT, Urology).
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $25.70 to $45.00 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
