About the role

Surgical Technologist responsible for assisting the surgeon during pediatric intraoperative procedures, ensuring sterile technique, and preparing age-appropriate instrumentation and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet patient and family needs
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain open communication
• Participate in quality improvement activities
• Serve as a role model and patient advocate
• Assist in departmental goals
• May be required to take call and work across multiple campuses

Qualifications

• An Associate's degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited school
• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• CPR certification is preferred at hire or must be obtained within two weeks
