OR Team Leader, Robotics/GYN/GU

About the role
The RN - OR, Team Lead shall be responsible to facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate unit activities for the provision of quality patient care. The Team Lead is responsible to Nursing Leadership and will serve as a role model by providing direction in the application of nursing process, quality improvement standards, organizational and departmental goals, and objectives in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. The primary role of the Team Lead is to perform as a clinical leader and facilitator for their service line area. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate unit activities for quality patient care
- Serve as a role model and provide direction in nursing process and quality improvement standards
- Perform as a clinical leader and facilitator for the service line area
- Scrub and Circulate
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Minimum 3 years progressive surgery experience preferred
- Evidence of commitment to continuing education
- Active RN license required
- BLS required
- CNOR required within 1 year of hire
- Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) may be required depending upon area assigned
