About the role

The OR Service Line Lead RN assists with clinical management and administrative coordination of the daily clinical operations of the OR. This role combines direct care with administrative responsibilities to ensure effective patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with clinical management and administrative coordination of the OR
  • Affirms nursing practices are standardized and consistent with best practices
  • Affirms patient history, physiological, and psychosocial status
  • Communicates with patients, families, medical staff, and others during the continuum of care
  • Affirms regulatory compliance consistent with quality standards and ethical obligations
  • Supports the organization's goals and optimizes clinical, financial, and human resources
  • Communicates, coaches, and solves unit issues
  • Encourages and provides opportunities for staff to develop skills
  • Performs as a preceptor in an active and engaged manner
  • Provides age-specific individualized care
  • Uses critical thinking to formulate and carry out a care plan
  • Utilizes resources economically
  • Utilizes safe medication administration
  • Utilizes safe patient handling

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors in Nursing
  • Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
  • Certification: CNOR required
