Greater Regional Health is currently hiring for an OR RN. This position includes call with 20-30 minute response times.

About the Role

Join a high functioning, dynamic team, providing patient care throughout the surgical experience. Patient care duties will include admission, recovery room, and post-op/discharge. Within the OR, role may include circulating and/or scrubbing, determined by departmental needs as well as staff preferences. Other duties include tasks such as pre op and post op calls, ordering, restocking, prepping for the next day, cleaning, etc.

Responsibilities

• Working in a fast-paced team-style environment
• OR role may involve circulating or scrubbing
• Other duties include ordering, restocking, preparation, and cleaning
• Strong patient advocacy
• Good communication and critical thinking skills

Requirements

• Current RN license and/or surgery experience is preferred but not required
• Training will be provided to ensure confidence and success in this role

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required but can be obtained after hire

Skills
