Job Summary

Crown Point Surgery Center is seeking a motivated OR Registered Nurse to join their team. The center is a fast-paced ASC environment dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients and their families.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in the operating room.
• Develops an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Implements the plan of care using interventions such as protecting patients from injury, managing specimens, communicating patient status, administering medications, maintaining patient systems, and protecting against infection.
• Communicates patient status throughout the continuum of care and provides education on various aspects of the procedure.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and participates in quality review and performance improvement projects.
• Maintains required competencies, attends meetings, and educates patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state.
• CPR and advanced life support certifications required.
• One year experience required in an intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing the responsibilities of the position.
