About the role

We’re seeking a full-time, experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Operating Room team at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. You’ll be part of a high-performing, collaborative team that thrives on delivering exceptional outcomes and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in the Operating Room setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans according to established protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to infection control practices and maintain sterile environments.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• BSN required or dedication to acquiring within three years of the date of hire
• Current RN licensure required
• Must have 2 years of Operating Room Registered Nurse Experience
• CNOR certification a plus

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for CNOR certification within one year of hire
• Must be eligible for BLS certification within one year of hire

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

Schedule

Full-time/Flex - 72 hours bi-weekly
Schedule: Day/Evening -1100-2330/ 3 (12hr) weekly
1-2 Spring/Summer Holiday | 1 Fall/ Winter Holiday | 1 Weekend every 4 weeks
PRN 2-3 shifts per month |Trauma Call 1 per month
