OR Rad Technologist, (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Explaining procedures to patients
• Operating imaging equipment accurately
• Reviewing images to ensure they are suitable for interpretation
• Selecting appropriate technical factors to achieve optimal image quality
• Maintaining radiation safety standards
• Communicating with patient to obtain medical history and/or specific medical information
• Validating all patient identification before performing any diagnostic x-ray procedure
• Validating proper working conditions and technical factors of all imaging equipment and procedure room

Requirements

• Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• TMB (state license)
• BLS required
• Experience in OR operating C-Arm, extensive spine and ortho experience necessary
