About the Role
Serves as the Inventory Assistant for Surgery, responsible for ordering and maintaining an adequate inventory, establishing and maintaining inventory controls in collaboration with the OR Control Inventory Specialist.
Schedule
- Scheduled weekly hours: 40
- Work shift: Monday–Friday, 6:15 AM–2:45 PM
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Good interpersonal, organizational, communication, human relation, and decision-making skills
Physical Demands
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to:
- Standing, sitting, or walking for long periods of time
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Working with a moderate level of noise
Physical effort required:
- Constant (67%–100%): reaching, handling/feeling, talking, hearing, seeing
- Frequently (34%–66%): lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, stooping
