Job Summary

OakLeaf Surgical Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as our OR Clinical Supervisor. This leadership role oversees daily operations of the operating room, anesthesia technicians, and scheduling team while partnering closely with the Surgical Services Manager to ensure exceptional patient care, staff engagement, and operational excellence.

About the Role

This role requires a strong background in nursing, leadership, and operational management. The OR Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for directing and overseeing daily clinical care delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to direct and oversee daily clinical care delivery within assigned areas
• Ensure departmental staff compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including those set forth by state and federal agencies, as well as accrediting bodies such as The Joint Commission
• Participate in and collaborate with organizational leaders during root cause analyses and/or high priority reviews, providing frontline insight and implementing corrective actions within the department
• Implement process improvements as a result of root cause analyses, high priority reviews, or other quality initiatives
• Collaborate with the Infection Preventionist Registered Nurse on compliance with accreditation requirements, patient safety initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring daily practice reflects required standards
