OR/ Circulator Registered Nurse-Hourly

About the role

This role is critical to the daily function of the center. A fast-paced multi-specialty center with a diverse case mix seeks a self-motivated, team-oriented nurse with strong clinical skills and strong critical care skills.

Responsibilities

• Circulate during surgical procedures, assisting the surgeon and managing the sterile field.
• Coordinate day-to-day patient care, including pre- and post-operative care.
• Assist with infection control rounding and audits.
• Ensure appropriate documentation workflows are completed.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities, focus studies, and other operational responsibilities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Hold a current state RN license.
• Three years experience in operating room - same day surgery or ambulatory surgery center preferred.
• Experience with picking cases preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in acute care nursing.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff, physicians, and patients.

Skills

• Scrub and circulating positions in the O.R.
• Picking cases.

Pay

$44-$49 based on experience

Schedule

Full time, 7-4pm Monday through Friday only, NO weekends or on call required.
