Registered Nurse - Hourly

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Perform “AT Risk Foot Care” assessments; identify vascular and neuro changes that need referrals to a higher level of care
• Provide physical assessment, provide education on conservative vs. invasive intervention as they align with patient goals and develop a plan of action with the physician
• Document Impression, plans and follow up, per physician dictation
• Provide telephone triage and manage physician communications
• Patient assessment prior to surgery
• Maintain sterile field and assist the surgeon in a sterile fashion throughout the procedure
• Ensure all equipment is working properly, nitrogen and oxygen tanks are adequately filled, check that crash cart and medications are up to date
• Facilitate prompt patient turn over

Required Skills And Experience

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current nursing license, in good standing with the state licensing board (MD)
• Minimum of 1 year OR experience
• Federal, State, and GHR- required credentials current and on file
• Cognitive skills as related to the position
• Proficient in Microsoft, Google, and EMR
• Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures
• Respects culture and religious practices of patients
• Punctual and dependable
• The ability to uphold HIPAA compliance is mandatory
• Must exercise good judgment and discretion
• Tech-savvy; proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
