Optometrist (The Eye Care Team) - Spokane & Chewelah, WA

About the role

The Eye Care Team is a premium provider of optometric services, specialty eye care, and high-quality products. They are searching for a full-scope and medical-oriented Optometrist to join their talented group of practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vision exams and medical eye exams
• Recommend vision-enhancing products and promote good eye health through patient education
• Schedule 16 to 24 patients daily for 20 or 30-minute appointments
• Work 2 days per week at the Spokane location and 2 days per week at the Chewelah location

Requirements

• Optometry license in the state of Washington
• Passionate about providing patient-centric care
• Demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety
• Willing to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in optometry
• Experience with medical optometry, including dry eye therapy, myopia control, eye disease diagnosis and management, specialty contact lenses, and surgical co-management
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art vision care technology, including automated optical equipment, ocular coherence tomography, visual fields, ultra-wide field camera, iCare Tonometer, LipiFlow, and IPL
• Experience with high-end frames and a large optical boutique
