Optometrist Opportunity – Coachella Valley, CA | $200K+ Proven Income
About the Role
Join Milauskas Eye Institute, the leading ophthalmic practice in California’s Coachella Valley, founded in 1980. We’re seeking a Medical and Primary Care Optometrist passionate about providing top-quality patient care in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. You’ll be part of a thriving, well-established group of 10 providers (5 MDs and 5 ODs) working in state-of-the-art facilities, including our own Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role is ideal for an energetic, personable optometrist who enjoys collaboration, lifelong learning, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary eye care in modern offices with outstanding optical dispensaries.
- Diagnose, manage, and co-manage chronic and surgical eye conditions, partnering with fellowship-trained specialists in glaucoma, retina, refractive, and advanced anterior segment.
Schedule
- Tuesday–Friday: 8am–5pm
- Saturday: 9am–3pm
- Mondays off for recreation or relaxation

Pay
- Base salary: $150,000–$250,000 (CA Senate Bill 1162 pay range)
- Proven total income: $200K+ annually with productivity bonuses (optical + medical)
- $25,000 signing/relocation bonus
