Responsibilities

  • Ensure executional excellence and winning results in partnership with the MOD and store team.
  • Demonstrate commitment to exceeding results through strong competency in KPI management and high accountability.
  • Position the brand as the leading optical provider within the community.
  • Operate as a successful stakeholder to all leaders within the organization and local market.
  • Prioritize patient/customer needs and deliver excellent service.
  • Exceed expectations on all KPIs.
  • Convey a commitment to unsurpassed patient service by ensuring staff follows service process steps, including:
    • Addressing patients’ visual lifestyle needs.
    • Making eyewear recommendations based on patients’ needs.
    • Explaining each step of the eye exam and listening carefully to patients.
    • Using available tools and visual aids to summarize and ensure patient understanding.
    • Communicating the need for annual eye exams and scheduling follow-ups.
  • Conduct all services in accordance with protocol and accepted standards of care.
  • Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations for all patients.
  • Establish a positive doctor/patient relationship.
  • Effectively utilize technology to deliver unsurpassed patient experiences.
  • Maintain office systems and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain state licensure in good standing and practice to the full scope of that license, including continuing education requirements.
  • Provide effective training and guidance to team members using company-provided programs.
  • Deliver clear, motivating, and constructive feedback in a timely manner.
  • Foster a positive culture aligned with corporate values and motivate team members.
  • Encourage associate decision-making at the level closest to the patient.
  • Maximize partnerships through leadership, participation, and involvement.
  • Maintain pride in the appearance of the office.
  • Lead by example.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree.
  • Commitment to quality patient care.
  • Knowledge of current optometric theory and technology.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Solid organizational skills.
