About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a Target Optical Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients. - Operate within the scope of practice agreed upon with the Subleasing Doctor. - Enjoy professional autonomy to care for patients. - Have full scope of practice based on professional discretion. - Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours directly with the Subleasing Doctor. - Work in a fully furnished office equipped with OD equipment. - Have access to automated online appointment booking and patient recall system. - Consider flexible scheduling options including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule.

Requirements

- Current license to practice optometry in Kentucky. - Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Experience in providing comprehensive eye care services. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Optometry. - Completion of an accredited optometry program. - Current license to practice optometry in Kentucky.

Pay

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
