Responsibilities
- Prescribing, fitting, and adjusting eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Diagnosing and treating ocular diseases.
- Recommending appropriate patient follow-up and care options.
- Conducting comprehensive eye examinations.
- Collaborating with a team of professionals including opticians and administrative staff.
- Providing patient-centered care with thorough communication.
Requirements
- Current license to practice optometry in Georgia.
- Experience treating corneal ulcers, diagnosing diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, and removing foreign bodies.
