Private practice in Ontario, Oregon is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Optometrist to join its collaborative team. This opportunity offers full-scope optometry in a modern, state-of-the-art facility with flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and an exceptional quality of life.

About the role

Whether you're a new graduate or an experienced Optometrist, you'll have the opportunity to tailor your practice to your interests while working alongside a team of experienced providers in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

  • Full-Time or Part-Time opportunity
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • No weekends
  • Flexible scheduling, including the option for a half-day off each week or a full day off every other week
  • Beautiful, newly built two-story clinic with a spacious optical
  • Collaborative team of five Optometrists and visiting Ophthalmologists
  • Modern technology and medically focused practice

Responsibilities

Practice full-scope optometry with a diverse patient population and a balanced mix of routine and medical eye care, including:

  • Comprehensive eye examinations
  • Cataract evaluations and co-management
  • Dry eye treatment
  • Glaucoma management
  • Macular degeneration
  • Retinal conditions and floaters
  • Amblyopia
  • Contact lens fittings, including specialty lenses if desired
  • Ocular disease management

Providers are encouraged to pursue their clinical interests. Patient scheduling is designed to support a comfortable transition, allowing new providers to gradually increase volume as they become established.

Technology

Practice with modern diagnostic equipment, including:

  • OCT
  • Visual Field Analyzer
  • Two Clarus retinal cameras
  • ERG
  • Additional state-of-the-art diagnostic technology

Team Environment

  • Work alongside five experienced Optometrists
  • Visiting Ophthalmologists
  • Skilled technicians
  • Experienced opticians
  • Dedicated support staff

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
  • Oregon license or eligibility for licensure
  • New graduates and experienced Optometrists are encouraged to apply
  • Interest in full-scope optometry
  • Passion for patient-centered care

Pediatrics experience and Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.
