About the role

At our full-scope private practice, we are dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered eye care in a welcoming rural community. As the only optometry practice in town, we serve patients of all ages and manage a wide range of primary care and medical eye conditions. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care while building lasting relationships with the families we serve.

Responsibilities

• Practice full-scope primary care optometry
• Diagnose and treat ocular disease
• Perform foreign body removal
• Manage dry eye patients
• Fit contact lenses
• Provide comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
• Valid Kentucky license to practice optometry (or eligibility to obtain)

Qualifications

• New graduates and 2027 graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong clinical skills with an interest in medical optometry
• Friendly, personable demeanor with a passion for building lasting patient relationships
