About the role

Warby Parker is seeking a Full-Time Optometrist who is passionate about delivering remarkable vision care in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is a team player with a great attitude and a dedication to making people healthy and happy.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams in accordance with Warby Parker’s protocol and standards of care
• Ensure flawless accuracy in taking measurements and diagnosing ocular conditions
• Explain eye health, eyewear, and prescription terminology to patients
• Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to patients
• Act as a representative for our brand and help educate and excite others to establish Warby Parker as a leading vision service provider

Requirements

• A Doctor of Optometry licensed in the state they will practice
• Excited by a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment

Pay

Warby Parker offers a competitive base salary/hourly rate, along with variable compensation for eligible employees. Final compensation is determined by a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, internal equity, and relevant market data.

Schedule

Warby Parker offers a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of both full-time and part-time employees. Full-time employees accrue 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 26 hours worked, receive 5 paid holidays, and 5-10 vacation days per year (after waiting period, depending on tenure and hours worked). Part-time employees accrue 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked.
