About the role

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams in accordance with Warby Parker’s protocol and standards of care
- Ensure flawless accuracy in taking measurements and diagnosing ocular conditions
- Explain eye health, eyewear, and prescription terminology to patients
- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to patients
- Act as a representative for our brand and help educate and excite others to establish Warby Parker as a leading vision service provider
Requirements
- A Doctor of Optometry licensed in the state they will practice
- Excited by a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment

Pay
Warby Parker offers a competitive base salary/hourly rate, along with variable compensation for eligible employees. Final compensation is determined by a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, internal equity, and relevant market data.
Schedule
Warby Parker offers a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of both full-time and part-time employees. Full-time employees accrue 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 26 hours worked, receive 5 paid holidays, and 5-10 vacation days per year (after waiting period, depending on tenure and hours worked). Part-time employees accrue 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked.
