About the role

EYEcenter Optometric’s mission is to provide the most personalized, distinctive eye care experience in California. Founded in 1960, the practice serves communities across the Sacramento Valley and Sierra Nevada Foothills with locations in Citrus Heights, Folsom, Gold River, Rocklin, and Midtown Sacramento. To support ongoing growth, we are seeking a full-time float optometrist to deliver comprehensive eye care in a modern, state-of-the-art environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and conditions in multiple clinic locations
• Utilize advanced diagnostic technology such as retinal cameras, OCT, visual fields, and automated refracting systems
• Educate patients about ocular health and recommend vision-enhancing solutions
• Collaborate with a highly trained support team in a collaborative and innovative environment

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.)
• Current California-licensed Optometrist
• Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
• 1–3 years of clinical practice experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Schedule

• Full-time, five days per week, 40 hours total
• Two 8-hour days in Rocklin (Wednesdays and Fridays)
• Float to other locations for the remaining three days
• Hours vary with coverage across Citrus Heights, Gold River, Folsom, Rocklin, and Sacramento
