About the role

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor.

Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe appropriate lenses and eyewear. - Perform routine eye care services such as refractions, dilated eye exams, and contact lens fittings. - Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. - Collaborate with the Subleasing doctor to ensure continuity of care and patient satisfaction. - Participate in continuing education programs to maintain professional standards and stay updated with advancements in optometry.

Requirements

- Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA or COA accredited program. - Current license to practice optometry in the state of Indiana. - At least one year of clinical experience in an independent practice setting. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
