About the role

Provide comprehensive medical eye care with a focus on cataract and glaucoma co-management in a collaborative MD/OD model. Perform medical eye exams and educate patients on diagnoses and treatment plans while documenting efficiently in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical eye exams
• Provide pre- and post-op cataract and glaucoma care
• Co-manage patients in a collaborative MD/OD model
• Educate patients on diagnoses and treatment plans
• Document efficiently in EMR
• Participate in CE and ongoing training

Requirements

• OD degree from an accredited program
• Washington license (or ability to obtain)
• Interest or experience in medical optometry and co-management
• Strong communicator with a patient-first mindset
• Team-oriented and clinically driven
