About the role

HealthDrive is seeking an Optometrist to work Part-Time or Full-time (2-4 days per week) covering the greater Cincinnati‑Dayton, OH area. HealthDrive delivers on‑site optometry, dentistry, podiatry, audiology, and behavioral health services to residents in long‑term care, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, directly impacting the quality of daily life for the deserving residents they serve. HealthDrive connects patients in need of vital healthcare to doctors committed to dignity and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long‑term care facilities within an assigned territory.
• Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age‑related illnesses.
• Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in the cutting‑edge EMR system.
• Perform mobile model treatment requiring daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.)
• State professional license
• Valid driver’s license
• TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to use email, the internet and to learn other healthcare‑related software

Pay

$8,000 Sign On Bonus available at 4 days per week (prorated for fewer days). Opportunity to earn $700+ per day via production, with uncapped earning potential.
