Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and prescribe corrective lenses
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases
- Collaborate with OD Technicians or Clinical Specialists to provide comprehensive care
- Handle eye emergencies and refer patients to specialists when necessary
- Provide vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings
- Collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an ABO accredited school
- Current license to practice Optometry in Rhode Island
- At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in private practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO)
- Experience with advanced diagnostic technologies such as OCT, visual fields, retinal cameras, and electronic health records
- Knowledge of contact lens fitting and management

Pay
The pay range for this position is $125,000 - $183,000 annually, with actual pay determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
