About the role

Ky Doctors of Optometry is seeking an ambitious and passionate Optometrist to join our growing team. This position offers the chance to provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages while working in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and prescribe appropriate treatments
• Handle eye emergencies and provide urgent care
• Collaborate with OD Technicians or Clinical Specialists to provide a full range of services
• Recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings
• Provide exceptional patient care and build strong relationships
• Collaborate with the team to maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA or COE accredited program
• Current Kentucky State License to practice Optometry
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
• Passing scores on the National Board Examinations
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required

Pay

Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Pay range: $60.00 to $93.75 an hour.

Schedule

This role is available on a Full-Time/Part-Time basis.
