About the role

The Chief Clinical Optometrist will lead the practice while helping develop other ODs into leaders. Opportunities for career growth include practice ownership with Visionworks and VSP Vision. Mentorship under Dr. Taylor Tedder, a well‑known optometric leader. Visionworks handles all insurance billing and credentialing; offices feature state‑of‑the‑art equipment including Optos California, Topcon Digital phoropters, Eyefinity EMR (on iPad), and Henson 9000 Visual Field Analyzer, with OD techs assisting in patient work‑up and contact lens training.

Responsibilities

• Provide full‑time or part‑time comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages.
• Perform patient examinations.
• Recommend vision‑enhancing solutions based on prescription findings.
• Handle eye emergencies.
• Collaborate with staff to improve access to healthcare.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
