About the role

We are growing and we are looking for an Optometrist in Kansas City to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist to learn and gain a medical skill set by working directly with an ophthalmologist. We believe in an integrated approach in which optometrists and ophthalmologists work together to deliver the best eye care for patients.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with an ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive eye care
• Perform eye examinations and diagnose various ocular conditions
• Prescribe and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Provide patient education on eye health and vision care

Requirements

• Doctorate of Optometry
• Successfully completed an ophthalmic residency

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about providing high-quality patient care

Skills

• Knowledge of ophthalmic medications and treatments
