Optometrist

About the role

Serving seniors in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, Swift Optometry provides comprehensive eye care services. The Optometrist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive routine and medical eye exams
• Conduct dilated exams
• Provide diabetic evaluations
• Treat infections and injuries
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases
• Communicate and interact with a full healthcare team including nurses, primary physicians, health aids, family members, and ophthalmologists
• Work in close collaboration with administrative and professional staff

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma State Board of Optometry License
• Able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on feet up to 6-8 hours per day
