About the role

Serving seniors in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, Swift Optometry provides comprehensive eye care services. The ideal candidate will perform routine and comprehensive exams, dilated exams, diabetic evaluations, and treat infections and injuries. They will also repair and equip patients with eyeglasses and diagnose and treat ocular diseases.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts
• Perform dilated exams
• Provide diabetic evaluations
• Treatment of infection and injury
• Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
• Diagnose and treat ocular disease
• Comfortable working with the geriatric population

Requirements

• OD license
• DEA License
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day

Skills
