About the role

Minnnesota Optical Inc. in Elk River is seeking a full or part-time optometrist to join their full scope optometry practice. They are looking for someone who is committed to providing outstanding customer service, building long-term relationships with patients, and embracing new technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular disease.
• Prescribe and recommend premium technology contact lens and eyewear products.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Have outstanding communication skills to provide counseling and education to patients.
• Maintain comprehensive records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress.
• Have flexibility in handling eye care emergencies on a same-day basis.
• Treat ocular surface disease/dry eye.
