Responsibilities
- Congduct comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases using advanced diagnostic equipment
- educate patients on proper eye care, treatment options, and preventative measures
- Prescribe and fit contact lenses and eyeglasses
- Build long-term patient relationships through excellent care and communication
- Collaborate with a team of optometrists and support staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) to accurately document exams and treatment plans
- Stay up to date on advancements in optical knowledge and participate in continuing education
- Contribute to the positive culture and growth of the practice through excellent patient service and teamwork
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA accredited program
- Current license to practice optometry in the state of Maine
- Experience in full-scope medical optometry preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
- Base salary range: $140,000 - $275,000
