About the role

Eyecarecenter is seeking an Optometrist to join their team in the Albemarle, NC office. The practice prioritizes work/life balance with flexible hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the health and development of patients' eyes through medically focused and clinically integrated eye care services.
• Participate in a doctor-led leadership team involved in all medical issues and the oversight of the Medical Executive Board.
• Apply expertise and retain clinical autonomy with investments in new equipment and infrastructure.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited optometry program and be licensed to practice optometry in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA-accredited school
• Licensure to practice optometry in North Carolina
• Experience in primary eye care and ocular disease management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
