Optometrist

We are seeking Optometrists to provide refractions, eyeglass fittings, and treatment to Military Service members. Work will be primarily on weekends, with occasional weekdays on an “as needed” basis in the State of Virginia. Services support the health‑readiness requirements of the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR), Army National Guard (ARNG), U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR), U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR), Air National Guard (ANG), and U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR).

Responsibilities

• Perform refractions and eyeglass fittings using equipment provided by DOCS Health.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license/certification in the state.
• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays.
• Passionate, friendly, and caring.
• Must have weekend availability.
• Experience working with military – preferred.

Schedule

Primarily weekends with occasional weekdays on an “as needed” basis in Virginia.
