About the role

Provide refractions, eyeglass fittings, and treatment to Military Service members in Texas on an as‑needed basis. The position supports health readiness services for various reserve components, including U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard, U.S. Navy Reserve, Marine Forces Reserve, Coast Guard Reserve, Air National Guard, and U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Responsibilities

• Perform refractions and eyeglass fittings using equipment supplied by DOCS Health.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted optometry license/certification in Texas.
• Availability for weekends and occasional weekdays.
• Passionate, friendly, and caring demeanor.
• Must have weekend availability.
• Experience working with military personnel – preferred.

Schedule

Primarily weekends with occasional weekdays, on an as‑needed basis.
